Scotweb’s MD, Dr Nicholas J Fiddes, has written a free illustrated e-book, as a gift to help kilt lovers everywhere. In simple non-technical language it covers every aspect of buying a kilt, choosing your tartan, and accessorising an outfit for every occasion.
As a Governor of the Scottish Tartans Authority, and founder of the world’s first company to market kilts on the Internet (yes, Scotweb) no one is better qualified to offer such advice. Impartial and objective, this is a personal work and is not a Scotweb publication.

Not to heavy but made to last and last some more I had them on for over 20 hours “ Scottish wedding you will understand “ Lots of dancing etc etc but never once did I think I want to take my shoes off. If you want smart, comfort and a lasting Brogue this is the one.

The Piper's shoes I bought are very good looking, very comfortable and very rugged. I am entirely pleased with them in all ways. One can wear them on hard street marching with the band, in wet conditions yet they look like those worn at dances and balls. Good job!

We originally received the wrong shoes for our wedding, but speaking with Stewart in the customer service department was a delight. He promply sent out the correct shoes in time for our wedding day! We thank him and the company so much for making this potentially horrible return process easy and painless. It is really lovely to see someone actually care about making us happy! Thank you very much.
